Asia Cruises
Asia cruises are a little different. It's not an area that attracts cruise ships like the Mediterranean or the Caribbean but there is no shortage of history, culture, scenery and diverse ecologies to explore. Since most small ship cruise lines actively pursue new and different off ship experiences, it is little wonder that we find them well represented here.
What constitutes an Asia cruise? Our definition is one that starts anywhere east of the Suez Canal and sails the waters around India, Southeast Asia, and China and up the coast to Japan and Korea.
Cruiselines offering Asia Cruises include:
Cruise West
- has a unique cruise around Japan. It's an excellent way to get to know this interesting and ancient land.
The Yachts of Seabourn
- are one of the more frequent visitors to this area of the world. Once again the combination of world class luxury and exotic destinations is irresistable to many travelers.
Silversea Cruises
- offers many itineraries in Asia. Probably more sailings than any other line in the Persian Gulf area.
Star Clippers
- is the only sailing ship operating in Asian waters.
