Majestic Ship Queen of the West
Modern Amenities, Historic Charm
The Queen of the West was meant to showcase the wide-open vistas, forested river banks and small towns of Alaska and the Northwest. Four decks – two of them wrapping around the entire ship – offer panoramic viewing from every angle. Her spacious lounges are filled with generous windows letting in light. All 142 discerning guests aboard enjoy outside staterooms where scenic views change by the hour.
Staterooms aboard the Queen of the West are among the most spacious of any cruising ship, with generous closet and drawer space and elegant furnishings. Suite and superior staterooms extend the outdoor viewing, with additional panoramic windows and inviting private verandahs.
Stop by the Paddlewheel Lounge for a quiet drink and marvel at the engineering genius of the three-story paddlewheel. Visit the Calliope Bar & Grill up on deck for snacks – it's open 'round the clock. Dine in the opulent Lewis & Clark Dining Room, where the emphasis is on fine fresh regional cuisine. And enjoy the gracious ambiance of the ship's public rooms, filled with plush Victorian furnishings and an extensive collection of artwork celebrating Lewis and Clark's expedition, Native American culture, and the beauty of the Northwest.
