Peter Deilmann Cruises

Elbe River Itineraries

The 5-Star MV Dresden, Frederic Chopin, and Katharina von Bora all cruise the Elbe, Havel, and Moldau Rivers through Eastern Germany into the Czech Republic. The itinerary includes such major cities as Berlin, Pottsdam, Wittenberg and Prague. While the itineraries do not differ much, we have samples for each ship below.

Discover river gorges lined with grand castles, tranquil towns, rugged sandstone mountains and Baroque cities that are veritable treasures of some of Europe's most dazzling architecture. View masterpieces of famous art collections and the jewels of the stunning Green Vault in Dresden. Follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther through Wittenberg and explore the bridges, squares, and churches of one of Europe's most splendid cities, Prague.

Peter Deilmann's model, unlike most of the other European River cruise companies, is to make all shore excursions optional. There are shore excursion "packages" that can be purchased which include a number of popular excursions at a bargain price.
