The undisputed Queen of French Canada, Quebec welcomes you from high on a bluff overlooking the St. Lawrence River. The oldest part of town is Place Royale, a set of cobbled streets and quaint shops located at the foot of the bluff. Above, the Place des Armes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering sweeping views from the boardwalk of Dufferin Terrace. Nearby, the ancient Laurentian Mountains are domes of polished granite, topped with lush forests that flare into brilliant colors in autumn.

Day 15 - Luneburg, Nova Scotia, Canada
This charming port may well be “the prettiest town in Canada” as some claim. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, it also opens the way to other picturesque South Shore villages like Mahone Bay, and to whale-watching excursions on the nearby bays.

Day 16 - Bar Harbor, Maine
This old fishing village on Mt. Desert Island is famed for the rugged vistas in Acadia National Park. Follow the scenic Loop Road through the park to see the breathtaking fjords of the Maine Coast.
