South America Cruise

A South America cruise in a small ship can take many forms. You might be sailing in the Chilean Fjords or on the Amazon River. South America is often the jumping off point for Anarctica and certainly the Galapagos Islands. One thing is certain, in a small ship you will have every opportunity to see the animals and plants, get acquainted with the culture and history and meet the people up close and personal.

At this time there are a limited number of ships on South American cruises but that number is constantly growing.

Cruise lines that sail to South America include:

The Yachts of Seabourn - South American cruises are an interesting mixture of absolute first class luxury with a little adventure thrown in.

Silversea Cruises - has several South American itineraries centered mostly on the east coast.

Lindblad Expeditions - emphasis is on southern South America (jump off for Antarctica) and the west coast (for the Galapagos Islands).
