    Day 1 Depart Home Gateway City to Basel

    Day 2 Arrive Basel
    Arrive in Basel and be escorted to your ship. Day 3 Basel
    Your Basel walking tour takes you to Old Town, Münster Cathedral, Medieval City Hall, and the maze of narrow alleys along the Rhine.

    Day 4 Strasbourg
    See Strasbourg on a canal cruise, including the picturesque Petite France, seemingly lifted from a fairytale story with its half-timbered houses adorned with flower boxes.

    Day 5 Rüdesheim
    See the fairytale town of Rüdesheim from “up high” as you travel by gondola to the impressive Niederwald Monument.

    Day 6 Aschaffenburg
    Discover Aschaffenburg, the Bavarian Nice, with a guided tour to the 17th-century Castle Johannisburg and Pompeiianum, a Roman villa rebuilt on plans discovered in Pompeii.

    Day 7 Miltenberg
    Your tour of medieval Miltenberg takes you past Main Castle to the Royal Inn, the Crooked House, and Old Square.

    Visit the Würzburg Residenz Palace, and enjoy a wine tasting of Franconian wines in the Residenz Cellar.

    Cruise the Main River through Franconia’s varied countryside, passing picturesque green river meadows. At the mouth of the Regnitz River, we enter the engineering marvel of the Rhine-Main-Danube

    Enjoy a guided walk through Bamberg’s Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Day 11 Nuremberg
    Relive Medieval and modern history in the walled city of Nuremberg.

    Day 12 Regensburg
    Quaint cobblestone streets and Medieval alleys lead you to the Cathedral of St. Peter.

    Day 13 Passau
    Tour the Medieval section of Passau and then visit St. Stephan’s Cathedral, home to Europe’s largest pipe organ.

    Day 14 Melk and Cruising the Wachau Valley
    Admire the beautiful Baroque Melk Abbey, and then enjoy a scenic cruise through the vineyard-rich Wachau Valley.

    Day 15 Vienna
    Your Vienna tour will take you along the stately Ringstrasse to St. Stephen’s Cathedral and past Mozart’s home.

    Day 16 Vienna
    Visit Schönbrunn Palace, a former Habsburg residence.

    Day 17 Vienna
    Spend a day in Vienna at leisure.

    Day 18 Bratislava
    Your tour takes you through the restored historical center with beautiful shops, inviting cafes and squares.

    Day 19 Budapest
    Your city tour features the Castle Hill district, Fisherman’s Bastion, and the 19th-century Chain Bridge.

    Day 20 Budapest
    After a leisurely morning catching a few last glimpses of Budapest, we sail to Vukovar.

    Day 21 Vukovar (Osijek)
    Tour Vukovar and Osijek, and then enjoy a home-hosted Croatian lunch.

    Day 22 Belgrade
    View the old and the new on this tour past Republic Square and St. Sava Cathedral.

    Day 23 Kostolac (Viminacium)
    Explore the archeological site at Viminacium with a local archaeologist, who will share insights about the exciting treasures unearthed.

    Day 24 Cruising the Iron Gate
    Marvel at the Iron Gate, a series of gorges that form a gateway through the mountains.

    Day 25 Vidin
    Visit Vidin, one of the oldest towns along the Bulgarian Danube, and then go Belogradchick.

    Day 26 Rousse (Turnovo & Arbanassi)
    In Veliko Turnovo, see the majestic ruins of Tzarevetz Castle. Later in Arbanassi, enjoy traditional Bulgarian cuisine.

    Day 27 Silistra (Varna)
    At Varna’s Archeological Museum, see gold treasures dating back 6000 years. After lunch, take a Black Sea cruise to Balchik.

    Day 28 Oltenita (Bucharest)
    Transfer to your hotel in Bucharest from Oltenita, and visit the colossal Palace of the Parliament.

    Day 29 Bucharest
    A day at leisure to explore Bucharest on your own, or enjoy a trip to “Dracula’s castle.”

    Day 30 Depart Bucharest
    Transfer from hotel to the airport in Bucharest.
